New Tools + Design Thinking
There are many factors that contribute to the success of a company. DesignWell was an investigation of how perceived values of innovation impact a company’s success. In particular, how new product development greatly influences a company’s perceived value of innovation. The rate of innovative new product development is largely determined by the tools, processes, structure, and internal culture used to produce it. Attempting to change a company’s process, structure, and culture is often disruptive when imposed from an outside organization. DesignWell investigates how new tools can have a fluid and dynamic impact on the way live, work, and play. This is a look at tools as a bottom up approach for enabling consistent new product development. The aim of this project and accompanying white paper is to set the stage for the development of this tool, set of tools, or features to provide any product development team with the resources to facilitate development and testing.
