This installation created a urban microclimate based on the social media mood of the city. The color of the cloud responded to urban emotions such as the winning energy of the local sport stadiums, or tension felt at a political debate, and misted in recognition when residents tweeted #MIMMI.

#MIMMI is designed to respond to changing behavior and emotions of residents throughout the day and night. By analyzing social media information in real-time, the responsive installation creates light shows at nighttime and cooling microclimates during the daytime. Microclimates and environments were created through colors that fluctuate with urban moods and cooling mists that responded to the mentioning of #MIMMI on social media. The mobile application also provides Augmented Reality by integrating the words from the Twitterverse into a visual capture of the sculpture.
